Is it possible to ask TOO many questions at a college interview?
I’ve got a list going and I kind of feel like i’m going to be interviewing or quizzing her. But all of my questions are really important and good. Should I cut back or is it good to ask as much as I can?

if she tells you “feel free to ask questions” or something like that, go ahead. but if she doesn’t, she may find it annoying. but asking many q’s may show that you are interested and very excited about college. but you may want to cut down to the most important- if there are some that you can ask someone else or at a later time, you should probably do that. ultimately, just do what feels right. but you know, she’s probably used to lots of q’s…

Yes, you can ask too many. A good thing to do would be do your research about the school before the interview, so not only are you prepared, but you leave a good impression on the person interviewing you that you get your background info before going there. Also, a lot of your questions will most likely be answered during the interview, so you can cross some of them off the list.
Definitely ask, but don’t bombard the person interviewing you with question! It shows you’re inquisitive, but it also shows you don’t know much about the school. So read up first, then ask what you can’t find the answers for!

Yes, there is such a thing as asking to many questions. Do your research on the schools. The research will help you, so as to not ask questions that could have been answered by reading a brochure about the college or by exploring the website. If you ask a lot of questions that could be answered through these mediums the interviews may think you are not serious about going to school there because you did no research.

It is possible to ask too many questions. Like previous answerers said, do your homework about the school. If you still have questions, by all means ask your interviewer if she asks you if you have any questions.

Order them by priority in case you run out of time…But I think it will be better to have all your questions answered than be nervous about something because you were too scared to ask a question and find out more about it. π Good luck!

Remember that you are still the customer, and that they’re sales people who are selling you an education product. Ask as many questions as you feel you need to…

I would think its good. It shows you are interested and more worried about the school being good enough for you than you being good enough for the school. Good impression overall.

Just make sure they’re smart valid questions that also show you did your research, I think it’ll show that you put a lot of time and thought into it. π
