Ha, I just finished that summer and I’m going into my 3rd year now. You should volunteer if you can. Also, start looking for, and purchase a MCAT prep book so that you can devote some time studying your 3rd year. I looked on e-bay and got a book that was a year old. Because it wasn’t the absolute newest, I was able to get it much cheaper than if I had bought a new one from a bookstore. If you want to be really prepared, you can start researching medical schools and start looking at requirements for each school. Enjoy this summer!!
