Clinical labratory science–IS THIS A GOOD MAJOR????

I just switched my major last quarter to Clinical labratory science. I am a junior. The reason why I switched to this particular major was because my counsler said that the success of finding a job relatively quickly after graduating with the clinical labratory science degree is really high.

But I don’t know exactly what I’d be doing. The classes that are required for this major look really diffucult too (microbiology, many chemistry classes, etc). How hard is it to major in Clinical labratory science?? And what’s the career like?

I am also currently majoring in clinical lab science. I choose this major as a back-up plan for if I don’t get into med/vet school. Supposedly, you can find a job anywhere and the starting salary in Ohio, where I live, is 33K-40K.

The classes are going to be very difficult for you if you’re not mathematically and science-inclined. If you get past o-chem, quantitative, and qualitative chem, you’ll be okay.
