ASU, Cal Berkley, MIT and Utah are pretty exceptional. ASU and Utah are particularly interesting because the Mormon population and access to excellent records of lineage – for Mormons and non-mormons. Also, you have very good native american popuations. You will also find strong a biotech / genomic industry presence and governemental support in those areas, too.

Here is a website for general career info from the US occupational outlook handbook: http://www.bls.gov/oco and search ‘genetics counselor’ or such. (Update: it only came up under ‘registered nurse’/genetics nurse and very small entry.)

American Board of Genetic Counseling: http://www.abgc.net and there is an icon for searching accredited master’s degree programs. (Found info on http://www.wikipedia.org albeit not the most reliable source but with resources)

For US colleges: http://www.utexas.edu/world/univ
