It depends. Good technology jobs can be obtained thru two-year degrees. You can also save money by getting your basic courses out of the way at a two-year college before transferring them to a four-year college. You’re really not going to get into your major until your third year of college anyway if you decide to get your bachelor’s degree.

The type of degree you get from a two year vs. a fur year college is very different. You get an associates degree from a two year and a bachelor’s degree from a four year. If you want a good job in business or white collar get a bachelor’s degree. You will make more money in the end and employer’s are looking for four year degrees. Bottom line: if you are competing with someone for a job and you only have a two year degree and the other guy has a four year guess who gets the job…

It probably depends on what job you would like. If you are going to a 2-year trade school or specific program it might benefit you more than a general 4-year degree if the 2 year college is more focused in your field. i would like to think that at least some employers are looking for someone who can do the job well, not just a piece of paper that says you went to college, but it can definitely make a difference so you should ask a college counselor or someone in the field you want to work in.

Its completely smart and low in value to circulate to a Junior college and get the final ed class’s out to the way (at a very much decreased value) and then circulate to a 4 year to end. make helpful the Junior college classes are transferable.
