It’s both. It’s a right that you have the opportunity to go (anyone can apply regardless of class, color, etc.). It’s a privilege if you’re able to go (you get accepted, and you can figure out how to pay for it).

It depends on the country and legal system the college in question resides in, but is generally a mix of the two concepts. Parts of the process are your right (applying), but parts of it are privileges as well (scholarships, etc).

Both. Everyone has the right to access education, but it is privilege to gain entry to the highest levels of that education. A country has a duty to provide basic education to all citizens, but it does not have to grant equal admission to higher levels of education. In other words, they can’t deny you the right to attend college, but they aren’t required to make it available for free, either.

It’s a right for everyone to have the opportunity to go if they want to. Only privileged or otherwise knowledgeable people can pay for it though.

It is a privilege and should be earned. But not based on finances, who your daddy is, etc. So it depends what you mean. Everyone is entitled to receive and education, if they earn it.

Neither…Everyone thinks you need it to do well in life.

If you want something just work for it..ya know

I think they just suck your money and 10 years later youre still paying off loans and it wastes 4-100 years of your life ; )
