College question?

I start back to college in 23 days. I am still living at home. I am attending a community college. I made my decision to attend Arizona State University. I am going into my 2nd year of college.

How can i prepare myself for all the homework and the exams?

I have all my supplies in my notebook that is in my backpack.

I want to go for my education degree. Should I send my transcript to Arizona State University. I havent taken any of the education classes yet. And there is a class that i dont think i need it will help me more with my career goal. I want to be a 1st grade teacher. The class is all about working along side a teacher that will build up my confidence and i will be able to

Build my teaching portfolio. Should I talk to my advisor about my intrest in ASU?

Yes! Right away. A good advisor will calm all your fears, then you can concentrate on your transfer grades: the higher the better. Good luck!

Yeah talk to your adviser there should be someone who will be able to help you with transferring to the other school. You can call ASU and ask to talk with someone who can help tell you what all you need to do in order to get in and try to transfer. You need to make sure they will accept all or at least most of the courses you took where you are going now. Some colleges will not accept class credit from other colleges or will only accept certain classes. So call ASU and talk with someone in the admittance office. They can tell you more. Then of course talk to your adviser they can tell you some things you need to do. Like where and how do get your transcript and so on. Make sure it is an official transcript and that they give it to you in a sealed envelope with the school you are attending now name on it. Some colleges will not except transcripts unless they are in a sealed envelope. That is to just keep sneaky bad kids from trying to make their transcripts look better. Well best of Luck!! =)

Yes you should talk to your adviser. That’s one reason they’re there. They should help you a great deal. You should apply for transfer this fall and ASU will need your transcript when you apply.
