is algebra 1 middle school math or high school?
im in the 8th grade and im doing algebra 1, i find it really hard becase i skipped esentials but at the same time i want to go back to pre al becase its easy, but its almost 2 easy. what do u suggest

Algebra 1 is usually taught in the ninth grade. Some students take a more simplified math subject or have three terms of algebra instead of two terms.
I think that you almost answered your own question when you wrote “i want to go back to pre al becase its easy, but its almost 2 easy”
If prealgebra is almost too easy try to stick to algebra. It is best for you if you can do it. There may be additional help needed for you.

I’d suggest you stay in Algebra 1 and just get a tutor so you can be above the other students when you get in the 9th grade. I had Alg.1 A and B when I was a freshman in high school. It is easy if you have a teacher that really care about your education that will help you.

It could be either, I took Algebra in the 7th grade and now I’m in geometry for 8th grade. They offer Algebra in both middle and high school in the city I live in. I would stick with Algebra because it will make life a lot easier, also if you don’t take it know then you will have to take it in high school. If you do it now, then you will have it easier in high school.

Algebra 1 is middle school math. I’m in algebra 1, too, and it does seem very hard. But, it’s the beginning of the school year, so it’s probably just hard at first. I’m sure it will become easier and easier, but, remember, it won’t happen over night.

wait what?! you took precal BEFORE algebra? oh, no it’s pre-algebra. sorry. i took it in middles school, 7th grade. But it’s suppose to be 8th grade math.

It’s generally in High school at the schools we go to, but I’m in it because I’m in Advanced math, stay there and LEARN.
