Robin measures the force needed to pull a wagon up an incline as more weight is added. In this investigation?

weight is the _______ variable

control

dependant

independant

PS: the reason I am asking alot of science question because I’m doing experiments so I have a sheet I am just checking my work that’s it and good most of the people are explaining how they got the answer so it’s helping me thax everybody

Control variables do not change. Since weight changes, it cannot be a control variable. What is happening is that as you keep the incline angle constant (your control), adding additional weight (the independent or experimental variable), the force you apply increases. The force is the dependent variable because it increases as you increase weight.

The chains (or couplings) are of uniform length, because of the fact the formation of a convention can variety from universal, based upon the call for. Coal wagons could be attatched or detatched en direction, and a various coal wagon could be shaped next to the locomotive each and every time. interior the united kingdom, the locomotive employs a “locomotive screw coupling”, that’s extremely solid certainly. something of the couplings on coal wagons are familiar instanter couplings (on HAA wagons, besides).

Weight is Control variable as that is being used for investigation. Force is dependent variable.
