IF that person s weight prevents him/her from doing things like working, caring for self, etc. then he she should be able to get it. They won’t be able to get it JUST because of obesity, it will have to be because of problems like diabetis, not being to walk or breathe, High BP, etc. I would talk to a lawyer who deals with that. Some people weigh 350 pounds and work every day..some weigh (me) 250 and can’t work due to the problems it causes.. Talk to a lawyer. that is what SS will tell you to do
