What is an example of a thesis statement?
1.Laws, rules or regulations –Thinking of using immigration laws
2. Family–Thinking of using how your parents advice comes in handy as an adult
3. Political or social issue–Thinking of using repeat offenders of drug use
Favorite Answer
** I do not know too much about immigration laws. Depending on the length of your paper and the type of paper you have to write, I would suggest narrowing down to one or two specific laws within immigration law.
2. As we grow up, we receive advice from our parents on a regular basis. The importance of that advice is not always apparent at the time we receive it. The usefulness of this advice may not become apparent until we are well into our life as an adult.
**It depends how you want to write the paper. Do you want to go from the type of advice you would receive in elementary school, then secondary school, followed by high school?
3. Some would argue that drug use is a social problem. Some would argue that it is a medical addiction. Others would say it is a choice or a bad habit. In reality, all of these opinions are correct.
** then you could tie in the argument for each opinion.
The important thing to remember about a strong thesis is that it should be something that every paragraph connects to.
