Without having doctorate degree, I have a friend who takes HR professional exams like the Certified Benefits Professional .. and Certified Compensation Profession..and I guess there is an International Comp. Prof..being offered. All are highly rewarded/regarded in corporate,academic, and consulting setting. I heard he is raking in at least a six figures. So a BA (from a no rank university) plus CCP+CBP= $000,000. Of course some of his colleagues have Phd’s.

To sum, I haven’t heard of any university that dominate the field of HRM.

Hence, there are many roads to being an specialist in HRM.
