It’s never too late……glad you’re back with us. I suggest working for “A’s”…..that means bust your butt to raise your GPA. College admissions people care more about your work in Junior and Senior years anyway……How about doing some extra intern/volunteer work you could put on your resume…..helping a vet…..even cleaning cages….puts you in the thick of things…..asking a local welder if you could put in a few hours a week after school cleaning up in exchange for tips on the trade….etc. Got the pic?

It depends on what you current GPA is at this moment. You could pass all your classes from this point on but, student usually apply to colleges in their second semester of their junior year. You would have to do a lof of repair work.

If you do not get into a good college try starting off at a community college and then apply to the same colleges as a transfer student (the requirement are very different). I started off at a community college because I goofed off in highschool. I graduated with a 2.3 GPA. I didn’s realize how bad I wanted to attend college until my senior year of highschool so I ended up at cc. I grew up a lot, graduated cc with a 3.4 and transferred to Arizona State University.

I can be done!

if i was you, i would not worry about not getting into a good college after u graduate from high school right away. take your time.. go to a junior college and you will decide your path from there. if you decide to transfer to a university from the junior college, your grades from high school and sat scores would not count…so try to do good in the junior college. and if you decide to do a vet assistant or welder, make sure that that junior college has those programs…believe me, i have seen people that went to a junior college transfer to really good 4 year universities…good luck!

Well i was bad when i was young and got kicked outta school to but i never had any problems getting into college, so it should not affect you at all , it is all based on your grades not your past performances
