If you want to attend law school in D.C./mainland USA, go for it. Most law schools have writing centers so if you’re nervous about your English skills (which seem fine from this post) you can always visit that for help on papers and such. You can always check out the writing/speaking resources available at the law schools you are considering.

Good luck!

There is a test called TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) that you can take. Every school will have a minimum grade on it that you need to get in order to enroll. Most international students are required to take it, I doubt you have to though since you are from peurto rico. Regardless, you’re english seems good enough that you would probably be fluent after 4 to 6 months of living in the US anyway.

You spell better than a lot of people I know. Why not go for it, that is if you feel comfortable.
