if i major in communication studies, what career options will i have?

please list as many careers as possible.

also, if i decide to major in marketing/advertisment, what are my career options?

my goal is to find a major that allows me to use my leadership skills, as well as my writing and my creative thought.

oh, and computer graphics and/ or art probably wouldn’t be my strong point either since i take forever to draw (i’m a perfectionist), and i have bad luck w/ technology~! ..lol 🙂

thanks~! **

Print Journalist, Broadcast Journalist, Public Relations, Advertising, Direct Response Copywriter, Marketing Director, Communications Facilitator, Trainer, Cross-Cultural Communications specialist, Small Group Communications leader, Consultant, Editor, Professor, Sales person.

Make sure that you have strong English language skills (verbal and written) because if you pursue a field in the Communications sector, you’ll need that. Too many people pursue Communications because it’s seen as an “easier” major and when they graduate, they do not have the language skills needed to succeed. If you are in Communications, you are going to do a lot of writing and speaking. So take courses and pursue extracurriculars which strengthen these skills. Also, make sure you build in time for an internship because these ultimately will help you land your first job.

properly, you are able to flow into Journalism, promoting yet i do no longer think of you fairly have a aggressive part and not using a Masters in only approximately something. in case you do get a Masters and that i choose to advise which you do, then you definately’ve such truly some extra ideas including Public family, Publicist, author the record is going on and on. stable success and that i’m hoping this facilitates!
