Many brick and mortar colleges offer online programs. Harvard in fact does.

You can get financial aid for online classes. I attend both traditional and online classes and get financial aid for both. As long as you qualify and attend an accredited college (online, traditional,or both)

College is hard to get free. However you can get enough grants and aid to make it easier to afford. I get my tuition covered and pay for books myself. Theres lots of programs out there to assist you with paying for college. Talk to your local colleges financial aid department and fill out your fafsa.

You cannot earn any kind of a college degree for free either in person or online. You have to pay for classes and instructors. No school is handing out a free education. The only way to get a “free” education is to qualify for grants or get scholarships. There are 2 exceptions that I’m aware of. In California, from what I’ve been told, if you live there for 2 years you can get a state college education without the usual tuition. And in Arizona you only have a 6 month residency requirement. But I believe both of those are not online classes but rather brick and mortar classes. Both are worth checking into. I’m not sure if the offers in California and Arizona are for a 2 year, 4 year or higher degree program.

I don’t think it’s possible. Apply for government grants…that’s like going to college for free.

Well, it can be free if you sign up for scholarships and such. But usually, college degree online is never free.

Education is a multi-billion dollar business. No, it’s not possible, unless mickey mouse gave a course in nuclear physics. If you are financially qualified, you could get government grants but not for online education.

Be careful about online programs. Many, if not most, are not accredited, meaning they may not be recognized by other colleges/universities or employers.
