College Transferr?

I have a few questions about selecting colleges. I am wondering which liberal arts college is the best out of my list. Also what are my chances for a transferr to a top national university if I were to attend any of these colleges?

colleges:

carleton college

Harvey Mudd college

reed college

whitman college

ps: i want to become a doctor.

Not exactly the better places to become doctors. Harvey Mudd is more of an engineering type of college. Transfers are pretty tough unless you already go to a top national university. And you have to have a very good reason to do so like an emergency or other.

I’m currently a Junior at Carleton College, and while I may be biased, I would say that Carleton would be a good fit.

Our Pre-med program is very popular here and gives the ability to add on a concentration (“minor”) if one would like. Though you are given this little freedom, that is by no means an indication that the workload here is a cake-walk. With us having a trimester in place, I would say we have one of the most difficult curriculums to follow.

With that said, the other 3 colleges are great places to attend as well. Though we all have our faults that is known within the liberal arts circles (such as Reed for extreme amounts of heavy-drug use among students) you would be challenged greatly at any one of these schools.

Also, with a good transcript accompanying your application, you have a good chance of getting into any university, while the application process for transfer students is still difficult.

Request info to be sent to you. And talk to the transfer counselor

Tell them what you going to be majoring in.

it doesn’t matter which university you go to..just do good, gain some medical experience and apply to med school. just remember that med school is very competitive and you definitely need good grades and scores and work experience. good luck!
