Choosing an Early Decision school … I need advice for my problem!?
So here’s the problem: my head tells me to go for school A ED because my future would be much clearer and the opportunities there are endless post-graduation, especially because of the program I would pursue there. My heart tells me to go school B because I had a connection so strong with it that I haven’t felt yet. And while my options may be less clear post graduation there, I have more room to explore what I really want to do. Keep in mind that school A still has a pretty good campus and school B still offers a great education. So what would you do in this case of head vs. heart?

Are you doing ED so that you’ll know earlier? Or to boost your chances with the school you select for ED?
Anyway, I’m going for school B. You love it, the opportunities, and the school still “offers a great education.” You are going to make so much of the opportunity that I think it offsets the automatic “prestige” that school A offers you down the road. But that’s just me. We really aren’t in a position to answer this question for you. And you know what? You don’t have to decide quite yet, since ED applications aren’t due until early/mid-November. Visit the schools again, if you can. See if you can get each school to articulate back to YOU why they’d be good (better) for you. ie If you really feel you have a good shot, perhaps they’ll “compete” for you a bit, to get your application. ???? Maybe???
Good luck with this decision, and with your college career. Sounds like either way, you’ll be fine and do well. Solid position to be in.
