can an student from the US go to college in Europe, UK as well??

im just curious, im still trying to find out what college i want to apply to and what major i want to do.. I am leaning towards photography.. I was just wondering, if a student could do that.. I know there is an study abroad option at colleges in the Us.. but could you enroll to a college in the UK or anywhere else in Europe?? thanks ciao

Of course you can. First you need a US passport. Then there is the student visa thing. After that, there is the whole money thing. Most schools for international students require them to pay in full before arriving.

Why you would want to study photography overseas is beyond me though.

Yes, you can enroll as an international student at pretty much any university in the world, BUT

as an international student, you will not be eligible for financial aid at most of these schools. Add in travel expenses, and this is really only an option for those with lots of money.

You’d be much better off, financially, going to a school in the states and studying abroad for a semester or year. When you do this, you typically pay tuition and fees for the school in the states you’re going to, and sometimes there are additional fees. Financial aid is also available for studying abroad.

Yea of course you can go to a college in europe. You should just be ready to pay for it. Its going to cost a lot!

yes you can. i dont know the details, but all of my siblings have gone to different countries for college including UK and Ireland. (we live in us)

oh you can definitely do that b/c i know that my friend who lives in ny went to college in france and had her own apartment etc etc. and i think ‘foreigners’ can also enroll in the us so therefore US students could most likely enroll elsewhere.
