In Boston you’ll find Berklee College of Music and The New England Conservatory of Music. Depends if you want to rock or not.

do you mean you’d like a list of all 800-1000 schools that offer a degree in music? That’s a long list.

One good place to look for a list of the better schools is the NASM web page. They accredit 617 college music departments.

If you just want to know who is best — beyond the top couple that’s arguable because it depends on what exactly you want to study.

Juilliard School (classical) and Berklee Music (pop) are probably two of the best known. Beyond those, it’s a matter of opinion entirely.

Wrong number
Go to google and type in Music Colleges in USA and see what comes up. You need to learn to research anyway before going to college. The only 2 I know of are Belmont in Nashville, Tn and one near Harrisonburg, Va.
