Why do teacher’s in college treat you like a 1st grader?

I’m at Western Piedmont and I have this one teacher that she has you read something at home and then next class period she reads the class the whole chapter. What’s the point in me reading it when she is going to re-read it to me. I’m not 3 anymore I can read.

Look around you. Do you think everyone is as concientious as you? …I thought not. Just do the work and earn that 4.0 for graduation. Some classes will be easier than others; this one sounds too easy. Oh, and in case you’re wondering…it gets much tougher.

Yeah, I have a college teacher like that. She reads from the text book each class. Like we couldn’t do that. It’s so boring and I’m not learning a thing. Sadly this is an education class in reading! She is a really bad teacher, but a nice lady. If I was not paying thousands of dollars to be there it might not be so bad… or maybe it would. Tell her how you feel.

If you attended a real college, perhaps you would be treated differently. Also, you use apostrophe s instead of suffix s to make the word teacher plural. You should have learned how to use suffix s in first grade.
