I teach a Intro to College class and want to do a section on memorization -?

I want to read them a descriptive story, then when I’m done, have them answer questions to see how well they listened and memorized the details. Where would I find a story like that?

How about you make the story up yourself. It might be a good way to continue on your Intro. to College theme.

You could make the story about a new college student learning to find his/her way around the college, finding out about where college departments are located and the different facilities offered by the college.

Any questions you subsequently ask about the story would be directly related to what you want to students to learn anyway!
