How can I find a teacher who taught at Columbia U. 10 years ago but has already left the school?

His name is Robert Cohen, who talked in such a nice and inspirational way when I studied in the American Language Program at Columbia. I was originally from Taiwan and came to the program to study English 10 years ago. But when I finished in 1998, he also left Columbia. I tried to search his name on the web but only found two books he co-authored, nothing else.

How can I find him, thank him and tell him how nice he was to me, a young foreign student whose life was not so easy in the evil NYC?
