110 is high average

120 is superior

130 and above is very superior

So it depends on your definition of very bright

my iq is 136 and i was identified early on as “highly gifted” and placed in according classes. I was reading at a 6th grade level by age 4. Most people with abnormally high iq’s can do a lot of things at an earlier age that it takes most people a while to do. The average iq is 100 and in my opinion anyone over 115 can be considered “gifted” Over 150 will usually get their own mentor during school to keep them challenged.

above 125 or 130.

but once you get up to like 160 or something, you get the people like einstein that can’t even fuction socially.

but I’m sure there are other “very bright people” unfortunately, my IQ tester wasn’t one of them. I think I was classified as a genius by mistake.

as far as i’m concerned, the IQ test isn’t necessarily the best way to judge someone’s intellect, it’s sort of flawed, most of it, outside of pattern recognition, etc, is based on common knowledge, so it’s what you know, now what your capacity is, i’m pretty sure there’s another line of testing, but i’m not sure, insofar as that goes, gifted starts at around 130, but you can just look it up.
