I scored 1560 on the SAT, is that a good or bad score?
I’m interested in going to the University of Florida in Gainsville with a major in Biology. Is my score good enough to enter there?

If you took the new SAT, a 1560 is not as amazing as the people above me are saying. It’s actually pretty bad.
but for U of F at gainsville they have
SAT Critical Reading: 560 – 670
SAT Math: 580 – 690
and they didnt have anything for the writing, but you do have a good shot at getting in as long as your GPA and extracurriculars are good!

I don’t think colleges put much stock in SAT/ACT scores anymore. They look at the students complete history in deciding who is admitted, especially if you parents have donated to the university before or have the means to donate to the university.

1560 is an amazing score, good luck in the future i’m sure you will be accepted anywhere, and its a little known fact but bill gates (the richest man on earth) had a score of 1520 so you def. have some amazing potential
