What high school year am I supposed to take the PSAT?
I live in Canada but want to study in the US after high school, my school offers the PSAT test. I am in Grade 10…is this the year I am supposed to take it? And when do you take the SAT test?

You can either take it the Fall of your 10th grade year, or you could take it the Fall of your 11th grade. With the PSAT, mostly Juniors take it in the Fall. But if you do horrible on it in 10th grade, you can re-take it fall of your 11th grade. That way you have a better understanding of what you need help on for the SAT in Spring of your 11th grade year.

well there really isn’t a year you’re “supposed” to take the PSAT but i took the PSAT my sophomore year too. & then you can take the SAT your junior year if you’d like. & if you’re not happy with your SAT scores, re-take it our junior or senior year.
