what’s the GPA to go nyu for general then transfer to the business program?
and my gpa is a 2.8

Last semester the average GPA is was a 3.9…sorry but you don’t have much chance. Start at a community college in the area…sign a transfer agreement with NYU, then go in two years. Otherwise try University of Arizona…or a state school

A GPA of 2.98 is not good. You should apply to NYU but also apply to some easier schools for admission. It is better to be safe than sorry.
There are items other than a GPA that schools look for in thee admission process. They will consider such things as:
1. The high school that you went to.
2. The difficulty of the subjects that you have taken.
3. How well you did on an interview.
4. How well you did on an admission essay.
5. Whether your grades during the course of your high school career went up or down.
6. Extra-curricular activities.
7. Leadership positions that you may have held..
8. Teacher and school recommendations.
