if i do badly on the sat/act will i not get into a decent college?

my grades r good and i did extra curricular stuff and won an award sophomore year from the faculty but im just kinda bad at preparing for these tests. will colleges just reject you if u dont do so well on them but did other requirements alright?

you wont get into harvard or something, but you can get into a good state school. Believe it or not, you can get just as good an education from a lesser known state school as you can from one of the big ones. Guess what, most employers dont care that much what school you went to, they care about what you learned, and what you can do for their company. good luck.

Depends on how badly you do–if everything else is really good and your SAT/ACT scores are just OK (nothing fantastic, but not as good as everything else) you might be fine. If they’re absolutely terrible, then yes, they will hurt you, and you’ll just have to aim lower or work at improving your scores.

unfortunetly SAT scores are what make or break us. it sucks. why don’t you try taking it again, and give it a little bit more time and stuff.
