Why am I failing Honors Geometry?
Ok so i have a C in Geometry, 83. I got a 68 on my test ( which tests are 65% of my grade). The thing is I dont know if I can bring it up to a B because I studied till 1:30 in the morning studying for the test and I was really calm and I had a confident attitude, but I dont know how I did so bad. What should I do? I pay attention in class and take really good notes and for ppl that say geometry honors is just memorization, its not true they mix it up with Algebra and they make you think forever on a pro blem on the test….i dont know how i can make myself a more confident student. its hard to study because on the test, you can’t really expect anything because they random algebra stuff in it and the teachers dont ever tell you about it. going back to regular is not an option since its already 4th week. i was recommended for this class and i study really hard, but the tests are just so irrelevant to anything in the book or what i study.

You are very similar to most people in my geometry class, because many of them rocked in Algebra 2, but now they suck at Geometry. I was one of those people that couldn’t do Algebra 2 because it was just so BORING! But I’ve found that now I’ve cometo the top of my class in geometry- and this is an honors class, so you’re not dumb if you’re not good at it, you just htink differently. I’m only good at it because I’m very ‘analytical’ as my teacher says.

If you are a good reader (you appear to be a good writer), just read the chapters and you’ll find that you’ll have a far higher chance of getting a good grade on your tests. With all of those PhDs in your family, I’m sure you’re very bright and have nothing to worry about. Worrying and stressing out about it will only make things worse. Seems like a pretty hardcore high school. Even if you aren’t doing so hot in math, you can still have a great future because the colleges will look at how the school is ranked. Geometry really sucked for me too, I got a D in that class, but now I’m in AP Calc and I’m getting As. Some subjects are just absolutely horrible.

Ask your teacher instead of us. Get a tutor or something. It’s probably something really simple that you got wrong in the very beginning so now it’s affecting everything built on top of it. If you missed a class you should get notes from someone who isn’t an idiot.

they say sum ppl r good in algebra while they might be bad in geometry.
Geometry is basically all memorization and all triangles, lines =180 degrees. those r probably just most key concepts.
