Help, with grades!?

I am in 9th grade at a Catholic school. I have like so far a 98 for general average in like everything, except for library, which is a quarterly. My average is a 69, and I figured if I got 100 on the rest of the stuff, I’d get a 90. In the handbook, it says to get first honors,I need above a 93 on all major subjects. What does that mean, and how can I stop being depressed over my failure warning?

I too attended a Catholic school and it seems they are real good about making you feel like a loser even if you are a good student.

My best suggestion is to ask for extra credit work, this seem to make them happy and will increase your overall grade.

Don’t beat yourself up over this, trust me they seem to think that if your not a A+ student then you are not giving your best.

If you are really trying your hardest and have your heart in your work then don’t be upset, Remember that the Catholic church and schools are one of the most scrutinized place on earth.

Take pride in your good grades.

And Keep up the good Work!

You need to have an average over 90%.
