What’s past is past, put it behind you and move on. If you have difficulty doing that, consider seeing a therapist for help.

Bullying is totally unexceptable. Nowadays, schools are even tougher on the bully than when I was in school. With school violence on the rise, there is no tolerence for bullying. I would never discipline the child being bullied. They have gone through enough.

You have my sympathy. I too was bullied. Only I was too scared to make a move. Craig used to push my chair (he sat behind me) like 18 inches out (I was in the first row). This happened daily in math class. Kids nearby would just look at me as I died a 1,000 deaths every day.

That s.o.b. Now I would get up and slap his face, and march to the principal’s office.

I haven’t thought of this in years. There was other bullying, too.

And my son was bullied in school.

It does affect you, doesn’t it? For years you have no self esteem, then when you finally have enough distance from those years, you can look back with new eyes, and really get steamed. The injustice of it all.

When you get involved in life, like have kids or whatever, you will get so busy that you honestly will forget about this, too, until one day, when you sign on to Yahoo answers, there will be that question that brings it all back……
