First off, don’t expect the kids from your elementary school to stay the same. Also, don’t be afraid to open up to people and join activities! Of course, like everything in life, there will be people who just suck (Mean girls, cliques, etc.) so be careful who your friends are. Try to make friends in other classes but don’t get obsessed with having senior friends. People will make fun of you, if no other reason than because you are a freshman, but probably just because you are a freshman. Don’t let it get to you, upperclassmen just do it because they can. But most of all have FUN, get involved and stay true to who you are.

I loved freshman year! Most of us didn’t know many people so we were pretty nice. But I joined activities and that is where I met most of the friends I still have now (I’ll be a senior this year)!

High school is a lot more fun and you have more freedom than you do in elementary school. There are cliques but they are not as dramatic as the ones in mean girls. Mean girls is just a movie so its not real. Anyways, Just be yourself and you will do fine. Try not to get caught up with the wrong people. On your first day you should expect to meet new people for me it was fun. I hope i helped =)

Our school is just like yours.. Straight from elementary to high.. It is different because you have more freedom than what you did in elementary school. And yes there are cliques but they are not like the ones in “Mean Girls”! You have the populars, goths, jocks, nerds, independents! Just be yourself, and don’t let the other students try to make your decisions for you, because they will try!! Good Luck.. It’s not as bad as it seems.. well im still in high school and where im at its not too bad (although theres alot of kids who try to act like there all bad) what you should worry about is getting to all your classes on time, finding your classes, doing good in class, doing all your homework, and being nice to others you don’t really need to pay attention to clicks just be yourself and hang out with your own friends or make some new ones high school can be really great but at times it can be a drag but you have to go trough it if you ever want to get out of there
