Another homework question, thanks!?

Are the needs of school-age children different from those of preschool children, and if so, how? What are those needs?

Basically the needs are the same. They are just at a different level. I had three grandkids in preschool and their mother and I spent one whole day teaching the class. It was on St. Patrick’s day and we taught the kids Irish history and such. We ate Irish stew from veggies we cut up and the kid’s threw into the pot. We made leprechauns about of tin cans, Bread dough snakes colored green. Colored a picture of an Irish flag. Then we packed up our suitcase in preparation for taking a trip to Ireland. I had pics of different things and we had to decide which we needed to take with us on our trip. No pumpkins or scissors, but we did need pants and coats. We also read some stories with pics in them and held them up so the kids could guess what the pics were. We had a ball and so did the kids. The teachers told us what curriculum to follow and I put together the stuff to do it with on my computer.

As I said, they learn some of the same things kids at elementary school learn just make it on their level.
