My youngest brother (recently turned 6) is having a lot of trouble in first grade. His teacher discussed with my mom that he needs work on all 26 letters (recognizing them, the sounds they make, etc…)

I am using flash cards and letter books to help tutor him.

I realize that the technology that we have today is amazing. My brother is very good with a computer, and I’d like to get him a learning computer game – one that focuses on letters and letter sounds. Any suggestions?

These games are very expensive (I know, because I bought one for my 8 year old brother and my 7 year old sister). Are there any websites that offer free learning games (focusing on letters and letter sounds).
