I am looking to earn a degree online.?

I would advise that you take classes the traditional way. I’ve done an online programming class, and wouldn’t do another one unless I was told I had to do so, maybe as a requirement to keep my job, for example. The basic face-to-face interaction lets you learn so much more in a classroom, IMHO.
In the class I took, all assignments were handed out and turned in via e-mail. Class discussion was non-existent, and the substitute that was given that name was a joke. Any questions were e-mailed in, and might take 2-4 days to get a reply. If you had a followup question, it took another 2-4 days. A week could go by before you had some sort of idea of what caused the problem, and how to fix it.
Instead of taking an online class, I’d recommend that you just read a textbook.
There are a lot of scams out there – make sure you are going to be attending an accredited instituion.
