A = 4 points

B = 3 points

C = 2 points

D = 1 point

add up how many points you have and then divide it by how many units are taking or by the number of grades you have if you don’t know the units.

ex. A, A, B, C, A

4 + 4 + 3 + 2 +4 = 17/5 = 3.4

it varies, so check with your school counselor, but generally:

A = 4

B = 3

C = 2

D = 1

F = 0

Add up your grades and divide them by how many classes you took. For example, if had six classes and got 3 As, 2 Bs and 1 C:

4*3 = 12

3*2 = 6

2*1 = 2

12+6+2= 20

20/6= 3.333333…

So your GPA would be 3.33

Your GPA should be on your University transcript. On the lower part of your transcript it will give you three different types of scores. One of which is your GPA.

Look at your student services, pay $ 5 dollar it was that for me than when I was in college. And read throughout your transcript. Just b y doing that you learn and educate your self a lot.

If you are in high school, then you need to ask your high school counselor. Usually there is at least one, sometimes more, for each grade level. This customizes the situation a little better for you, as student. If you are in college, then there are even more counselors who help the students at that level, with a more diverse “base.” In any event, I would just “ask” and they should be able to give you that information immediately. I wish you well. Remember this, What shall we then say to these things? If GOD be for us, who can be against us? – Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with BENEFITS, even the God of our salvation. Selah. – Psalm 68:19. Peace, Love and God Bless.

The simplest was is to add up the points for every class then divide by the number of hours you’re taking.

Most schools use a scale similar to this.

A 90-100=4.0

B 80-99=3.0

C 70-79=2.0

D 60-69=1.0

call the school admin office or its on your report cards. Or if you know you grades this is the grading system:

A=4 pts

B=3 pts

D=1pt

F=0pt

so i u have mostly all A’s you will have a 3.5-4.0 GPA etc
