First you have to identify the cause, is it because they are leaving to support a family? Or are they just bored?

I stayed but I found it redundant and boring. The schools should offer a precollege/life level of education. Teach these students life lessons, such as how to manage funds and credit cards. How to go about investing in the markets and buying homes. How to raise children and prevent unwanted pregnancy. How to go on a job interview and how to keep a job when they get one. Realize not everyone will have the opportunity to go to college and offer entry level training for jobs they can use. If the universities are using the schools for their athletic recruiting then they should pay the bills for the programs, that will free up the funds for more practical endeavors. Those are a few off the top of my head, but unless we do something with this ever growing problem, we will be a 3rd world country.

school is an oppurtunity and growing phase. I would make the age 18 when you can legally get out school. As for the lazy ones who do nothing but cause trouble becuase they dont’ want to be there they would be put in schools with stricter rules and punishments. freedoms will be taken away because it’s not killing you to stay in school untill you graduate, there is no excuse for dropping out besides laziness and lack of success!

hmmm…. set school up so it only lasts an hour i could of handled that or maybe something fun rather than school. school was like prison to me. so make it something other than prison. the only difference between prison and my school was their were boys and gurls. thats about it. and hmmm…. make school less i don’t know boring. also you could go with not making them go. tell me to do something and i won’t because you told me i can’t believe i tested that theory out several times and i may sound like an idiot or something but i can do what i want when i want and no one has been able to stop me yet also they could call it something else. school just doesn’t sound like a place i want to go. also why so much homework end that. they got whatever amount of time they can teach us their or can they not. also actual food like maybe a restaurant or something in the school instead of a cafeteria i mean that just sounds horrible and degrading. i wouldn’t eat in their if i were starving and going to die. they hand me that slop and i would be like no thanks i’m not a pig. also i had off school campus which was awesome but like i said i had no reason to come back. make it a place that people want to go rather than dread to get near.
