Online classes…. How do you know if it’s for you?

I am planning on taking a few classes. Not exactly sure which ones yet. But there are a few that I’m interested in that can be taken online. I’m not sure if this is the route I should take. How do I know if it’s for me? Do you need to be a quick learner? I know that it takes me awhile for things to actually sink in sometimes. I am self motivated. So that isn’t a problem at all. I’m mainly concerned about if I’ll actually LEARN anything.

Some online classes you are able to meet with instructor if there are any issues you need help with. There should also be a forum either online or in a classroom where you can meet and get advice from fellow students.

Try to get together with classmates for study sessions, practice taking tests. For math, calculus or technical courses it’s usually best to take those in a real classroom.

Hi have my masters from an online program. All you need to do is be computer savvy. If you can post here on yahoo answers, you can post in the forums in your online classes. If you are self motivated, it is really for you because no one is breathing down your neck telling you what to do. You do it all yourself. My program took a year and a half and was INTENSE…but not so overwhelming I felt like quiting. You can do it…it sounds like you are on the right track so far. Good luck!

Well I’m taking my whole freshmen year in high school via on line classes.

Its wonderful!! You pretty much just log in and do your work whenever you feel like it,

and you go at your own pace (depending on grade) and ill be a sophomore by Christmas.

It WILL help you learn, trust me it works great
