How do you organize college visits?
I want to visit a college (UPenn) to see how it is, but I dont know how to organize it. Should I call the school. Do they allow college visits in the summer? Does it cost anything? Do they give you a tour or do you just walk around? Is it to late to organize one?

Also at UPenn the admissions office will usually hold a Q&A session in addition to a tour. If you visit during the school year instead of summer, you can arrange to spend the night with a host student to see how it feels to live in the dorms.

Call the dean of admissions office…yes, most colleges offer visits during the summers, no, it does not cost and yes they will give you a tour simply because all colleges are really business’s before they are educators and any potential student is a potential client.
