woman: We can(make love) if you want to. I feel like my stomach is gonna burst.
man: Doesn’t matter. Looks like I have work ahead anyway.
What does he mean by ” I have work ahead “?
work = trouble, because she feels like her stomach burst?

Maybe because her stomach feels like it is about to burst, that the guy believes he has a lot of work to do because she doesn’t feel well.
