You have to phone her BY YOURSELF.
I would like to know if my answer is correct too.

The teacher’s sentence means that only you should call her.
Your sentence means that you should be alone in the room when you call her.
It’s a small point, but if you want to use correct English, you will find that it is the small things that make the big differences between speaking English as though it were your first language, and sounding like someone who is learning English as a second or third language.
By phoning her yourself, you are saying that you called her yourself.
By phoning her by yourself, you are saying that you called her with no one around.
