Obviously, there is a money issue, and not only do you pay per term for private schools, you also can sometimes pay for the textbooks etc.

The staff in private schools tend to do more for their students than state schools. And, hopefully (unless you got in through bribing them), private schools should be getting higher results than ordinary state schools. Otherwise it kind of undermines the point of it all. So you’ll also be pushed a bit more in private school, by your peers as they’ll be getting high results as well as you, which is not always the case in state schools.
