What is the technical term for a “repeat customer.”?

For example if you were trying to write a report and you wanted to say There is an increase in the number of repeat customers what would be the proper term to use to describe that…Any suggestions?

“Repeat customers” is technically fine, especially if your are citing statistics. You could use phrases like “increased customer loyalty” and “repeat business”.

You might be able to use the word “recidivist,” but it does tend to have a negative connotation.
