What is another way to say this phrase?

“Hit the ground running.”

I’m either looking for a straight response, or another slang term is appreciated, as long as it is well-known.

basically, to be ready to go to work as soon as you get somewhere, or ready to tackle a problem as soon as you are faced with it.

There are certainly may different WORDS you can substitute in this phrase. But, if you are looking for other well-known SLANG terms you might consider the following:

Get going “RIGHT OUT OF THE CHUTE”

Make changes “ON THE FLY”

Work hard at it “FROM THE GET-GO” or “FROM THE WORD ‘GO'”

GET AFTER IT

Hope this helps.

“Seize an opportunity; begin at full speed. For example, As soon as the front office gave its approval for the new department, we hit the ground running. The origin of this term is disputed. It may come from troops dropped into a combat zone, from stowaways jumping off a freight train as it nears the station, or from Pony Express riders avoiding delay when they changed mounts. “
