What is this word linking religions together?

Okay, I really need your help. Regardless of what the religion is, most religions have simular philopisys that basically teach the same princables, it’s just a different faith. So, there’s a word and I believe it starts with an “M” and it signifies the relation to what different religions have in common. Come somebody, what is that word?

Well, your basic assumption is wrong. Most religions, sects, cults, claim the truth, which makes any other belief false. Outsiders can find similarity among groups, but to insiders, to true believers, there is no such similarity. Even among the four (4) Abrahamic religions (Jewish, Christian, Islam, Bahai) there are fundamental differences, and well, lost of ‘sectarian’ violence. So lets think about the similarities between these Abrahamic groups and Buddhism . . . not much in common.

The ecumenical movement is the word you are looking for and it is used by people who want to deny diversity and ‘lets all get along’ by denying the very fundamental thing that makes us different.

So, it is the meaning and the truth behind a word that counts.
