What is a good/clever way to say “can’t have one without the other”?

I am about to get a tattoo tomorrow but i can’t put the finishing touches on it. the tattoo is somethin that you may have seen elsewhere. it’s an optical illusion that says good and within the good it says evil. i have been trying to think of a clever way to say “can’t have one withouth the other” to go around or up under the picture. can anybody provide me with some suggestions? even if it’s a foreign phrase that would be good to. i’m thinking latin or swahili or something like that.

If there is not EVIL, then what is GOOD?

How do we know GOOD, if there is not EVIL also?

EVIL is necessary for us to choose GOOD.

We cannot choose to do GOOD if we cannot also choose to do EVIL.

hello
If you want some Good/Evil quotes, you might want to ask this question in the Spiritual section… Lots of bible thumpers around those parts of Yahoo.

Without both, you have neither

Two peas in a pod

Adam & Eve

Free will

“In the beginning the Creator created heaven and earth.”

King David wrote: “Turn away from evil and do good.” (Psalms 34:15, 37:17).

“How does one turn away from evil? By doing good.”

There are ways to express that in math. It’s symbolic math or logic or something.

UNION

good U evil

IMPLIES

good -> evil
