What does “fiery tang” mean?
English is not my native language so I’d like to know what “fiery tang” (w/o context) means in common English (British or American one) and in informal speech.
Thank you.

It’s simply NOT used in “common” English, and without a context, it makes no sense at all.
Tangy means kind of bitter, or fiery, so it’s sort of redundant.
And if it does have something to do with weaponry, as “Joe D” seems to think, a “tang” can be the part of a sword or knife blade that the handle attaches to. Does that help at all?

This is from GuildWiki, a wiki guide and official Specialty Fansite for ArenaNet’s Competitive Online RPG, Guild Wars:
A weapon with a “fiery” name prefix has a weapon upgrade of the same name:
* Fiery Axe Haft
* Fiery Bow String
* Fiery Dagger Tang
* Fiery Hammer Haft
* Fiery Scythe Snathe
* Fiery Spearhead
* Fiery Sword Hilt
