“act like” sounds like “act like”. You don’t “drop” any letters. All letters are pronounced except the “e” at the end of “like” which is always silent. It is there to indicate that the “i” is pronounced “long”, i.e. the vowel “says its own name”.

I think many people would be inclined to drop the “t,” but only the slobs. Not the “k.” Where the heck are you?
