namegenote?
My friend and I were texting each other today, and she said out of the blue “ngn”. I had never heard it b4, so I asked her what it meant. She refused to say. I looked it up on urban dictionary, and it said it was short for namegenote. I tried 5 different search engines, but none of them had any reference to it. None. Does anyone know what it is?

NGN most often stands for next generation networking.
The closest I can find is the Dutch word “naamgenoot” which means namesake.
Either your friend has invented this term or she is pulling your leg.
