Calendar days include weekends and holidays. Working days include only those days normally worked in that industry (Monday through Friday for most people in the US)

A calendar day refers to all days on a calendar, including weekends, which are not considered work days.

There are two reasons (that I can think of) that someone would specify calendar days —

1. To contrast it with work days.

If today is September 1, and it will arrive by September 10, you can say it will take 10 calendar days.

2. To differentiate from a 24-hour period.

If something is going to take two days, it may take less than 48 hours, but it will be the second day on the calendar.

No. It refers to all days. Monday to Monday is 5 work days but 7 calendar days.

No they do not.

15 calendar days is a little more than 2 weeks.

15 working days is 3 weeks.

Time periods of five days or less refer to working days; time periods of more than five days refer to calendar days
